Friday swimming club April – July 2010

 

23 April    Front crawl, personal survival, Simon Says game.

30 April    Front crawl, personal survival, Big Bad Wolf game.

7 May   Backstroke, aquafit, stuck-in-the-mud game.

21 May   Backstroke, personal survival, whirlpool game.

28 May    Breast stroke, jumping & diving, treasure hunt.

11 June    Breast stroke, flippers, water polo.

18 June    Butterfly, jumping & diving, water polo.

25 June    Front crawl, time trials, Waiter game.

2 July    Back stroke, back starts, water polo.

9 July    Breast stroke, breast stroke start & finish, pyjama race.

16 July    Butterfly, flippers, big floats.

 

NB There is no swimming on 14 May and 4 June.

 

This term we are doing kayaking in addition to the swimming. This will take place at Thames Young Mariners, Riverside Drive, Ham. It’s always a lot of fun! (Let me know if you need transport.) We have 3 sessions, choose as many as you’d like to do:

Wednesday 9 June, 5:30 – 8:30 pm,  Sunday 27 June and Sunday 4 July, both 1:30 – 4:30 pm. The cost will be £15 per session. Please include payment for the number of sessions you’d like to do.

There are 11 weeks of swimming at Teddington Pool, so the cost for this term is £55. Remember to add on the fees for the kayaking sessions if you’d like to do these.

Please make your cheque out to W. Dorgan. Cash is also fine if that’s easier.
