Special Olympics Surrey attend Special Olympics Athletics Event
Twelve athletes from Special Olympics Surrey Athletics Section attended the Southern Special Olympics Indoor Athletics Event in Portsmouth on Saturday 30th January 2010 at the Mount Battern Leisure Centre. The athletes took part in a number of events which included relays, shotput, standing long jump and target throwing just to name a few.
The team performed extremely well for their first ever indoor athletics event finsihing 7th out of 15 teams.
